The SAS stands for Serial Attached SCSI (SCSI Stands for Small Computer System Interface, typically pronounced as “scuzzy”) and is a technology for transferring data from and to hard drives. The higher speeds and a higher level of resilience make SAS the obvious choice for Enterprise use and in situations where high speed and reliability are paramount. The Savvio 10 K 5 drive is the highest-capacity 2.5-Inch, 10K drive and the first SFF drive to offer four capacity points on a single platform. This drive enables improved storage efficiency (by providing up to 900 GB in a single drive), helping data centers manage more data without increasing the number of drives, all while increasing sustained data rates by 18% (over previous generation) and maintaining favorable power consumption rates. The small form factor allows enterprises to solve space constraints through higher-density storage. The drive reduces system complexity by standardizing on a common form factor, storage interface and encryption technology. This means fewer device types, form factors, interfaces and security technologies need to be deployed, inventoried and managed. Protection Information (PI) feature of the drive protects against inadvertent data change.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
